We currently have a new opening for Catering Assistant to join Deyes High School, helping to co-ordinate day-to-day activities within the kitchen and ensuring quality services are provided to students and staff.
Job overview
You will be responsible in assisting with food preparation and cooking, and working within a wider team to ensure catering services are carried out efficiently on a daily basis, including stock control and ensuring duties are carried out within a set budget. You will have the ability to relate well to children and adults and be comfortable working on your own and part of a wider team.
Job requirements
- Minimum of a Level 2 award in Food Safety
- Previous experience within catering for large numbers
- Awareness of Health and Safety, COSHH, dietary and allergen requirements
- Commitment to providing a high-quality and consistent catering service with the ability to work within a busy environment
